Viganj Tourist Champion of the Tourist Patrol of Večernji list 2023

Viganj is the winner of Večernji list’s Tourist Patrol, the oldest tourist award that has been awarded for almost five decades. With 95 points out of a possible hundred, this well-known windsurfing destination received the prestigious award in fierce competition amongst 29 destinations on the Adriatic.

Viganj was followed with fewer points by the well-known tourist places Veli Lošinj and Pirovac, Zaostrog, Vrsi, Mandre… This year once again, the Tourist Patrol focused on beautiful smaller places, worth visiting, where hospitality and friendliness, cleanliness and orderliness, beaches, variety of accommodation, quality of catering, facilities for children, cultural facilities, supply and authenticity, and general impression were evaluated.

The champion of tourism for 2023 was presented to Viganj for its contribution to the Adriatic tourism offer at the award ceremony in mid-September in Marija Bistrica, and the award was received by the mayor of the Municipality of Orebić, Tomislav Ančić, and the director of the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Orebić, Mladen Đeldum.
