Night of the old Orebic

The Night of the Old Orebić is a costumed scenic, musical and culinary event of a humanitarian nature. This event takes you back in history to 1875, when the Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franzs Joseph with his family and entourage visited Orebić to open a new shipyard.

Join us on Saturday, 22 July from 19:30 at the Orebić Ferry Pier, and for one night, go back to the time of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Sissi, when Orebić was one of the strongest maritime centres in Europe.

You will enjoy costumes from that time, top-quality Pelješac wines and local delicacies prepared by the hard-working women of the Cancer League in cooperation with the Municipality and the Orebić Municipality Tourist Board.

The Night of the Old Orebić is a big humanitarian event, collecting to buy colonoscopes and gastroscopes for the needs of the Health Centre on Korčula. It is an investment of around 60 thousand euros.
