Do you know who is one of the biggest promoters of Croatia in Poland?

Robert Makłowicz is a Polish journalist, prominent as a promoter of Polish cuisine, slow food, television personality, and is one of the largest promoters of Croatia in Poland.

In his reports, he often points out Pelješac, which he always likes to visit, where he even owns his own cottage. He met with the Mayor of Orebić, Tomislav Ančić, on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, with whom he discussed future cooperation.

He was presented with new products that the destination Pelješac started with at the end of last year, namely the development of the outdoor offer and the development of thematic events: The Pelješac wine cellars festival, the salt festival, the oyster festival, the festival of Pelješac’s flavours and Captains’ festival. Robert was delighted with the development of new products that he will promote in Poland as well.

On behalf of the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Orebić, the Mayor handed him a letter of thanks for the promotion of Orebić and Pelješac, and a gift painting with the Pelješac motif of the academic painter Emil Bobanović Čolić, born in Kuna in 1926, where he still lives today.
