Orebić and Pelješac once again bring a rich programme of events that will delight visitors of all ages and interests. From relaxed evenings with wine and local delicacies to major concerts, klapa performances, jazz and traditional local festivities, an exciting summer awaits.

Taste Pelješac – Favourite Summer Gatherings with Wine, Music and Local Products

It is hard to imagine summer in Orebić without Taste Pelješac. This popular event takes place every Wednesday from mid-June to mid-September at Mimbelli Square and has been bringing together visitors and locals for years in a pleasant Mediterranean atmosphere.

Alongside premium Pelješac wines, visitors can sample liqueurs, homemade jams and other products from local family farms. The League Against Cancer also offers its well-known sweet and savoury delicacies, with all proceeds supporting humanitarian activities.

This summer also brings several special editions called Taste Pelješac – Fishermen’s Nights, featuring grilled sardines and great entertainment. Some Fishermen’s Nights will take place outside Orebić as well. On 22 July, Giuliano and his band Diktatori will perform in Lovište, while on 29 July, Group Viva will bring the atmosphere to life in Trstenik.

Klapa Evenings and Stories from a Proud Maritime Past

Sundays are reserved for traditional Dalmatian klapa singing. Throughout the summer, Klapa Nava and Klapa Geta will alternate performances in Orebić. Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy performances by Klapa Ragusa, Klapa Smokvica in Lovište and Klapa Kaše in Viganj.

For those wishing to learn more about the area’s rich history, free guided tours of the old part of Orebić are organised every Monday. A walk through former captain’s streets and stories of renowned sailors is a wonderful way to discover the soul of this destination. Tours are available in Croatian, English and German.

Music for Every Taste

Classical music lovers and culture enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy this year. The programme includes concerts by Musica Mediterranea, Mandolin Night and two outstanding performances as part of the Korčula Baroque Festival.

And when the sun goes down, it is time for entertainment. The band Vatra will perform in Lovište, while Kuna will host Miroslav Škoro and Kuzma & Shaka Zulu. Orebić will welcome the popular Electro Team (E.T.) and Magazin with their new singer Lorena. Fans of dance rhythms can enjoy a lively Latino Night featuring the band Fantastico and an attractive dance programme.

Local Festivities Not to Be Missed

The best memories are often made at local festivities. These are evenings filled with music, laughter, local food and socialising under the stars.

Visit the Feast of St. Liberan in Viganj, the Feast of St. Lovro in Kućište and Trstenik, as well as numerous events in Lovište and other villages of the Municipality of Orebić. These celebrations offer one of the most authentic ways to experience the spirit of Pelješac.

New This Summer – Last Minute Jazz Festival

This year’s programme is enriched by an exciting new addition. The Last Minute Jazz Festival brings outstanding jazz musicians to Pelješac.

In Orebić, visitors will enjoy a performance by the Marin Jerkunica Trio, while Viganj will host the Ratko Divjak Trio featuring Joliette Anžlovar, one of the most interesting names on the regional jazz scene.
